Coaching is aimed at helping clients discover and achieve their goals for improvement in one or multiple realms, such as career, self, and/or family life to name a few. Coaching involves defining specific goals and strategies for reaching them through regular meetings and consultation. Coaching differs from mental health therapy in that it is less focused on emotional well-being as a primary goal, although it is often a positive byproduct for clients participating in coaching. Coaching sessions can be conducted in-person or virtually.Â
